One trend I have noticed gathering momentum on the streets of London recently is for guys to wear their jeans pin-rolled - which is when the hem of the jeans is rolled up a few times to reveal a hint of ankle. It seems that this look is not confined to the UK as The Satorialist snapped this young chap in Milan this week. The last time I remember seeing pin-rolled jeans paired with espadrilles was back in the early eighties when a young George Michael was just starting out with Wham.

It is a tricky business for a brand that has made a name for itself producing great jeans for men to expand the line to include quality women's denim as well. What make a great pair of women's jeans is very different to what works for guys. With their fourth womenswear collection Prps definitely seem to be hitting their stride. The awesome folks at V Magazine tipped us off to Natalie Portman posing with a provocative pout, wearing a Calvin Klein Jeans Denim Jacket with crystallized Swarovski elements on the cover of V Magazine issue #62. Natalie was shot by Mario Testino of V Magazine and stylist Clare Richardson styled her for the London based shoot. The Winter 2009/10 issue is on stands now (I just bought mine!)

The dilemmas of double denim is a topic we have covered many times before. Today I think we finally have an answer as to whether double denim is ever acceptable. Hipsters, I am afraid that it is time to put away your denim jackets because as these photos clearly demonstrate, it is only senior citizens who have the confidence and class to be rocking the Texas tuxedo.
